Inside Industry Visit

Analox is a company we've worked with for 8 years now and they've gone from strength to strength.  They specialise in the design and manufacture of gas sensors and analysers, supplying to companies all over the world.

We first worked with Analox to help optimise their efficiency and boost turnover, by embarking upon a Lean Manufacturing project.  In 2007 Analox appointed a new Managing Director, Mark Lewis, which was an ideal time for us to work closely with them to develop a 5-year strategy for growth.

Analox recently moved into new purpose-built premises with a greatly-improved process layout, designed by Linda Wells, Operations Director, and Andrew Nicholson, Nicholson Consultancy Ltd.  This layout has since been improved further to create a highly flexible "Lean Factory", able to produce almost any product in any quantity with minimal wasted time or effort.

To achieve and sustain these improvements, we've transferred skills and knowledge to Analox employees in:

• Design for Manufacture
• FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis)
• Workplace Organisation (5S)
• Lean Office (streamlining the company's non-production and administrative processes)

The Inside Industry visit is an ideal opportunity for you to see Analox in action and to talk to those who have "been there and done it" - warts and all - on their Lean journey.
